Cedar Creek State Park extends a 50% off campsite fees, Monday – Thursday, from the day after Labor Day through September 30th. A two night minimum is required. Sites at this time of year is first come, first served.
Summer naturalist Marilynn Burkowski invites Cedar Creek State Park guests and visitors to participate in various interpretative and recreational activities scheduled at Cedar Creek. Activities are posted weekly on the park bulletin boards. Some special programs and activities of interest are listed on the web in advance:

Cedar Creek State Park
Join Geologist Ken Ashton and Naturalist Marilynn Burkowski for Geology! Rocks – a presentation about the geologic life and times of West Virginia. You’ll learn about some very, very old rocks, about the mountain state’s terrain and more. Great for groups. Hands on examples of various rocks, fossils, etc.
Program length about an 1-1/12 hour. Opportunity for discussion and questions and answers.
